about the name
Colibrí means ‘hummingbird’.
Hummingbirds encourage us to enjoy life and remain light and free. At Colibrí Wine, we believe in reveling in the present while we invest in the future. Our low-intervention sparkling wines are hand-crafted to bring joy to every occasion.
winemaking
We hand-pick our fruit from Acadia Vineyard here in the Columbia River Gorge. Acadia is an Organic, Biodynamic, and LIVE certified vineyard. Our sparkling wines are made using the Traditional Method, which means our wine is naturally carbonated during a secondary fermentation that takes place inside of each bottle. This method is extremely hands-on— we touch each bottle at least three times before it goes to market. From vineyard to your table, our wines are crafted by people who are dedicated to sustainable winemaking practices.
Now that’s refreshing.
